Specification of Cheapest Tablet computer Aakash’s commercial version aka Ubislate 7

This is a enhanced version of Aakash will be known as Ubislate 7. It will have everything that is available in Aakash and a few more things.

  • GPRS Embedded modem and SIM card slot – The commercial version of the product will be available sometime in November. It will have a SIM card slot and embedded GPRS modem.So, people can connect to internet either via WI-FI or GPRS.
  • Price – Price of Ubislate 7 would be INR 2999 (60$)

On 5th October Aakash Tablet was launched by Indian HRD minister Kapil Sibal. It is manufactured by company Datawind in Hyderabad. Specification is of Aakash tablet computer that would be available to students via government subsidy.
